Dr. Andrew Gutzka

Dr. Andrew Gutzka graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2020. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science from Grand Valley State University in 2016 and graduated from Glen Lake Community Schools in 2012. Dr Gutzka has advanced training in treating children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He is the 2020 recipient of the Brian D. Stone Memorial Award through the Dental Lifeline Network, a national humanitarian dental organization that provides comprehensive dentistry to people with disabilities or who are elderly and medically fragile.

Dr. Gutzka was a patient at Deerhaven Family Dentistry as a young man. It was the kindness, compassion, and quality of care he received here that has led him to pursue a career in dentistry so he can provide these things to others.

Dr. Gutzka enjoys all of the beautiful scenery and wildlife Northern Michigan has to offer. He has been a very active member of the local 4-H community for almost two decades as a mentor to youth who have an interest in agriculture and livestock.
